Endurance Crystals are a concentrated form of all the endurance and cardio vascular benefits available in Red Beet Juice extract or powders. With additional ingredients that Turbo Charge the Nitrate delivery process, extending Nitric oxide production to the blood by as much as 12 hours.
Endurance Crystals also have muscle enhancing ingredients that benefit training and racing. During the exertion of a race, Endurance Crystals reduces lactic acid and ammonia build up, protecting the body from symptoms of acidosis and muscle fatigue, thereby raising the level of overall physical performance.
Though Endurance Crystals contains nitrate and nitric oxide producing ingredients, we recommend you also use our Spinach powder with the Endurance Crystals, as Spinach has over twice the nitrate levels found as beets and a much higher lever of vitamin C which helps preserve the nitrates from oxidation breakdown.
Another benefit of using our spinach powder with the Endurance Crystals instead of Concentrated Beet Juice, is that recent studies have shown that the level of nitrates in spinach powder is very standard across batches tested while the nitrate levels in Concentrated Beet Juice varies substantially from batch to batch and vendor to vendor.
This difference between the two sources might well be that when the beets are juiced much of the pulp is discarded and it is in that pulp that much of the nutrient value and antioxidants are stored.
Spinach powder on the other hand has probably the highest concentrations of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants known for any vegetable source. Spinach powder is also very rich in phytonutrients such as carotenoids (beta-carotene, lutein, and zeaxanthin) and flavonoids to provide you with powerful antioxidant protection and of course contains twice the available nitrates than beets.
Therefore, we highly recommend also using our spinach powder product and the Endurance Crystals together, as this combination better control nitrate delivery and extends the time period over which the nitrates are present in the bloodstream.
With this combination, you have two pathways for nitrate delivery. The added ingredients in our Endurance Crystals, are absorbed and then broken down in the liver and with enzymes to produce nitric oxide which dilates the blood vessels and improves oxygen ustilzation. At the same time, the nitrates in the spinach powder are broken down by the bacteria in the gut into nitrites and then from nitrites to nitric oxide. The combination of these two nitrate to nitric oxide delivery systems, allows more nitric oxide to be present in the bloodstream over a longer period of time, extending increased oxygen utilization for a longer period over the length of the race.
When given during the week in conjunction with our Endurance Crystals, this combination will exceed the benefits achieved from Beet Juice Concentrate as the increased nitrate - nitrite conversion rate will enhance oxygen utilization during the race.
A recent study, identified four friendly bacteria strains that work within the digestive tract to convert; nitrates into nitrites (NO2) and then further break down nitrites into Nitric Oxide (NO1 or just NO), thereby enhancing the availability of Nitric Oxide in the bloodstream.
