Don't other pigeon health products also include probiotics? some do have probiotics and vitamin, minerals, and enzymes as well. However, Show Stopper has nearly 10 Times the probiotic count than most other products. Also, we do not use yeast media grown probiotics as we believe birds are more highly susceptible to yeast problems than are other animals.
I have concerns about pigeon health that are somewhat different than most other suppliers and have created what I feel is a better product utilizing additional immune response pathways to bring optimal condition and health to the birds. If you read my article (mentioned above) you will understand how important higher levels of probiotics can be to your bird's overall health. Basically, with Show Stopper, you get most everything found in the Chisholm Trail product, without the yeast culture, you also get increased amounts of probiotics as per the suggestion of Dr. John Kazmerziack, DVM (at the AU convention), and you get the three-in-one immunity building delivery system pioneered by RacingPigeonMall. Finally, you use our product twice a week on the feed not every day as other products recommend.
How is Show Stopper different from Max Immune Plus? When I created Max Immune Plus, I was looking to develop a product that could be used in the water as a preventive and during recovery from YB Sickness, Circovirus, Adenovirus, Enteritis, etc. A product that would destroys viruses, bacteria, yeast, fungus, allergens and other toxins. And, that contained antibodies against Rotavirus, Coronavirus, E coli, Clostridium, Salmonella, Paratyphoid, Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, Candida, H pylori, Cryptosporidium and many other pathogens.
Used once or twice a week, Max Immune Plus provides protection for your birds and greatly reduces or even eliminates the need for antibiotic usage throughout the season. However, I knew that there were a class of non water soluble ingredients including: certain oligosacharides, beta glucans, glycoproteins, glycolipids, and polysaccharides, that provided additional immune support not available in a water soluble product like Max Immune Plus.
What I have done with Show Stopper is to group in one product, these oligosacharides, beta glucans, glycoproteins, glycolipids, and polysaccharides, along with the "Cocci-Gone" product, and select chelated amino acids which are not soluble in water, into one product. I even include a totally different vitamin / mineral source than that used in Max Immune Plus.
The ingredients found in Max Immune Plus and the ingredients in Show Stopper are not the same. They are really separate stand alone immunity building products. Max Immune Plus is water soluble. Show Stopper has oligosacharides, beta glucans, glycoproteins, glycolipids, polysaccharides, digestive enzymes, a coccidia inhibitor and ingredients which repair damaged intestinal tissues which not found in Max Immune Plus. And, Show Stopper is meant to be sprinkled on the grain at the time of feeding.
Max Immune Plus utilizes two different sources to provide the specific antibodies against Rotavirus, Coronavirus, E coli, Clostridium, Salmonella, Paratyphoid, Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, Candida, H pylori, Cryptosporidium and many other pathogens. Show Stopper incorporates these same sources but has more Immunoglobulins, T-cell activators, and Glycoproteins while Max Immune Plus has more of the antibody sources in its approach. However the addition of the different probiotic strains, the oligosacharides, beta glucans, glycoproteins, glycolipids, polysaccharides and digestive enzymes, create favorable synergenic function, providing health results comparable to Max Immune Plus, yet at the same time, significantly different in delivery and utilization by the bird's immune system.
The ideal health program for our birds would incorporate both Max Immune Plus and Show Stopper within a weekly routine. Use Max Immune Plus once a week and Show Stopper twice a week. This is the ultimate health program for your birds! You get all the antibodies and Immune response pathways available in Max Immune Plus, plus you get the antibodies, oligosacharides and digestive enzymes found in Show Stopper. Between these two products you also get many different strains of friendly bacteria and a full spectrum of vitamins, minerals and amino acids.
Having these two products (one water soluble and one on the feed) gives you a choice. Either product provides you the protection you need and is a stand alone health product, but using both products during the week provides a broader spectrum of protection.
Here is my recommendation: Instead of using Max Immune Plus 1 - 2 times a week, or using Show Stopper 2 - 3 times a week, try using Max Immune Plus once a week (in the water) and Show Stopper once or twice a week (on the feed).
