American "No Light" Pills

Max Immune Plus and Show Stopper, have quite a following among those in the sport who are moving away from antibiotics and other medications. Over the past year, we have received many testimonials from satisfied customers, applauding the effectiveness of these two immunity building pigeon health products. There simply are no better products on the market today for maintaining pigeon health, without the need for medications or antibiotics.

Building on that success, I have always wanted to create a pill version of these two great products in order to extend their usefulness in maintaining pigeon health and hopefully in improving your race results. Therefore, I recently purchased a pill press and have spent some time learning how to manufacture pills. The beauty of doing it all this myself, is that I am not required by a manufacturer to purchase large quantities all at one time because of minimum requirements. In fact, just like with the Max Immune Plus and Show Stopper products, I mix my ingredients once or twice a week as needed. When you order any of my products including the pills, you are getting fresh product not something that has sat on the shelf for months.

With the introduction of the American "No Light" Pills, I can now offer individual "pigeon sized" pills made from each of our successful immunity building products (Max Immune Plus and Show Stopper). Now, fanciers have the option, if they so desire, of treating birds individually, as needed.

The preferred system would be for a fancier to use both the Max Immune Plus and Show Stopper products on a regular basis and to have the American "No Light" Pills (Yellow or Green) on hand if individual birds need additional attention.

Another important use of American "No Light" pills is when you are vaccinating your birds. Vaccination puts stess on the birds as the immune system fights off the virus in the vaccine and builds resistance to that virus. You have seen the symptoms before, your vaccinated birds look a little off, hunched over, not very active, these are outward signs of the weakened state of yor bird's immune defenses while it is fighting off and building immunity to the virus present in the vaccine.

At this critical point, while your birds are fighting off the virus and building immunity to it, they are suseptible to respiratory infections and a general weakening of their defenses. It is advantageous to supplement the bird's defenses with one or two American "No Light" pills, while you are vaccinating. The immunity building ingredients in these pills will help your birds overcome any respiratory or pathogenic infections while they are weakened by the vaccine immunization process. It is best to protect your birds.

American "No Light" Yellow Pills:

NOTE: These pills are called either American "No Light" Yellow Pills or "Baby Booster Pills". No matter which name is used, each is based on the same Max Immune Plus formula. The use of the Baby Booster Pills name is just to stress how they can be successfully used to transition youngsters in the nest during that important time when they are starting to receive small seeds instead of pigeon milk from their parents.

"Baby Booster Pills". When the parents start to wean their babies off of pigeon milk and onto solid foods like seeds, there is stress placed on the baby's digestive system. Not only is the supply of highly nutritive pigeon milk being reduced daily, but also the immunoglobulins, antibodies, and growth factors found in that milk are being reduced. During this transition period, youngsters in the nest can experience a setback. Not only is the feed source being changed during this period of time, but the digestive tract and intestinal lining of these youngsters undergoes a profound physiologic change, called "hardening".

When the young are hatched and for the first eight or so day, their digestive tract, is "leaky". For lack of a better work, we will use "leaky" to describe the intestinal lining's ability to allow parental immunity to pass through the lining and into the blood stream and associated lymphatic tissues. For protective purposes, at about nine to ten days of age (when pigeon milk is being replaced with seeds), the intestinal lining of the youngsters "hardens". This happens for two reasons; first, since the pigeon milk is being replaced with seeds, there is no longer a need to pass parental immunoglobulins, antibodies, and growth factors through the baby's digestive tissues. And, as the youngsters grow and start receiving seeds (and start pecking around the nest), they will now be ingesting pathogens that are present in the loft, and a protective "hardened" lining is needed to defend against these pathogens.

Since the babies are being weaned of their parental source of immune protection found in the pigeon milk, the intestinal lining must now begin to "harden", in order to seal out (as well as possible) pathogen contamination from being passing through the gut wall into the baby's internal tissues and organs. Also, this hardening is necessary because the youngsters must now produce digestive acids to assist in the braak down of solid foods, like seeds and grains.

These transitional days are very important and it is at this important time that the "Baby Booster Pills" should be used. Their special blend of immunoglobulins, antibodies, growth factors, probiotics and prebiotics will help transition your youngsters through this difficult weaning period. Additionally, "Baby Booster Pills" are rich in "easy to digest" fats, proteins, and carbohydrates. Just pop one pill down the youngster's throat starting a day or two before the parents stop giving pigeon milk and continue every other day for a week. You'll be glad you did!

American "No Light" Yellow Pills (also know as the "Baby Booster Pill") are based on the Max Immune Plus formula, and may be used on your older birds as well. For example, if a youngster or adult bird comes a day home late from a training toss, give it a pill. If a bird looks hunched over or has runny droppings, give it a pill. When you are at a futurity race handling your race entries, give them each a pill.

American "No Light" Green Pills:

The American "No Light" Green Pill, is based on our Show Stopper formula and should be used much like the American "No Light" Yellow Pills. Except, we do not recommend the Green pills for babies being weaned off of pigeon milk, as this formula might be a little strong for weaning babies. However, anytime after about three weeks of age, the American "No Light" Green Pills may be used.

If you have read our materials on Max Immune Plus and Show Stopper, you know that these two products have several ingredients in common, ingredients which build immunity, fight pathogens and supply natural sources of vitamins, minerals and amino acids.
